My Journey to AI
My path to AI started with two decades of building software. From freelance web development in the early 2000s to leading engineering teams at scale-ups, I've seen technology evolve from jQuery to cloud-native architectures. That experience taught me what makes tools actually useful for developers.
When AI coding assistants emerged, I saw their potential immediately. Not as replacements for developers, but as multipliers. I dove deep into understanding how to work with AI effectively, experimenting with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and others. Now I help companies implement AI workflows that deliver real productivity gains.
Currently, I work as a Staff Engineer at a legal AI company, where I build systems that combine traditional software engineering with cutting-edge AI capabilities. It's the most exciting work I've done in my career.
